Pastor Bill Janzen is St Thomas born and raised and loves this city. Bill left St Thomas for Bible college and seminary, and pastored in other cities and is now glad to be back in his hometown. Bill and his wife Beth started The Forge with a few other families and have been excited to see our church community grow.
Education and experience
Bill has over 15 years of experience as a pastor, having served at churches in Woodstock, Sarnia and St Thomas.
Bill has a Bachelor of Religious Studies degree and a Master of Divinity from Heritage College and Seminary.
Personal life
Bill and Beth have 3 beautiful kids and many friends and family in the city. Bill is a proud comic nerd that loves the Marvel movies and has a collection of over a thousand comics.

“I love St Thomas. I grew up here and have so many great memories, friends and family here. I love that St Thomas still has a lot of small town feel while having everything that you need in a city. I remember many times walking through the Iron Horse Festival or St Anne's Fair and running into a bunch of people that I knew. I remember fireworks at Pinafore Park and trips down to Port Stanley on Summer days. After having lived away for 10 years, all I can say is it's so good to be home.”
